Braver than Dumbledore, braver than Sirius, braver than me. And you sorted him into the wrong house.” The Hat did not reply. “My apology? My confession?” Harry pressed it before it spoke. “I have been here for one thousand years, Mr. Potter, and have not been wrong once.” Harry waited. “But, of course, I will confess and apologise. I was wrong about Severus Snape and I will be forever sorry for all the sadness that has occured as a result of my mistake.”
